Custom Pre-Engineered Canopy System in Morrow GA
TOTO
Project Overview
As part of an enhancement to the existing facility, we designed and installed a custom pre-engineered canopy system, suspended from structural steel I-beams, to create a striking covered walkway leading to the main entrance. In addition, we supplied and installed complementary roofing and cladding at the front entry, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing finish that seamlessly integrates with the building’s architecture.

Project Challenges & Solutions
Architect wanted the walkway canopy to be floating, not attached to the wall. There were structural i-beams above for attachment, but that attachment needed to be watertight and have enough flexibility to shift in either direction, and fit within the seams of the metal roof panel. The fabrication and installation process, as well as structure, internally was somewhat complicated, with the intent of providing an end result that looked clean and simple.
Installation Process
Originally we planned to prebuild everything in house, but as we got closer to that, we realized the more efficient install manner was onsite with a talented installation crew.
