Northside Braselton MOB

Project Overview

The Northside Braselton MOB project was required to add a custom fabricated louvered system screenwall to hide the rooftop HVAC equipment. Screenwall was divided into 2 sections on either side of roof and raised above parapet level to provide best screening application.

• Primary System: PCG custom fabricated louvered system comprised of 5.5” louver blades and aluminum ‘C’ Channel frame
• Support Structure: Structural Steel columns and top and bottom chords (By Others)
• Lengths: (1) @ 21’x35’ (11 sections), (1) 20.5’ @ x50’ (14 sections)
• Height: 6’-1/2” tall
• Finish: RAL Mouse Grey Powdercoat Finish

Project Challenges & Solutions

Challenge: Project schedule was short so PCG had to use “hold to” dimensions to ensure screen was ready when steel framework was completed.

Challenge: Complex interface at 2 corner locations

Solution: Custom fabricated corner piece to connect the 2 legs of the screenwalls

Challenge: Working on previously completed TPO roofing

Solution: PCG provided protection in complete work area and did multiple cleanup sweeps throughout the day to ensure no damage occurred to roof surfaces.
