Marist Library Expansion
Project Overview
The Marist library is located in Atlanta, Ga. Pierre Construction fabricated and installed over 200 ACM panels on all sides of the exterior expansion. The custom-fabricated ACM panel system used for this project is a rain-screen system with an ACM spline between all panel-to-panel joints.

Project Challenges & Solutions
Challenge: Pierre Construction needed to provide a VE option from the originally specified metal panels to reduce costs, while keeping the architectural design, and adhere to a tight construction schedule. PCG offered an option to provide ACM panels in lieu of the aluminum plate, which provided a 1-2 week turnaround from the time of field measurements to the time of panel installation. This option reduced material costs and saved the construction schedule an estimated 6 weeks in lieu of the metal plate.

- Site visit prior to installation for panel dimension measurements
- Custom fabrication of panels in our shop with CNC machine
- Field install continuous extrusions to perimeter of panels
- Panel installation with clip to extrusion system
