Pierre Construction Group History
Pierre Construction Group, Inc. was established in 1989 by David Pierre Westcott Jr., primarily serving the metro Atlanta area as a residential contractor. In 1990, the company expanded its services into the Southeast through major hospitality projects in Florida, North and South Carolina, and Alabama. In 2000, Pierre Construction Group’s focus shifted away from residential construction and moved exclusively to commercial construction and architectural metals. While most of our work is in the metropolitan Atlanta area, we are now licensed in 21 states nationwide.

Our Philosphy
Pierre Construction Group’s philosophy has always been to provide excellent customer service while completing projects on time and safely. We pride ourselves in consistently delivering on our promises and creating an open line of communication from the field to the office and back to our clients. In addition, we excel in helping contractors, architects, and owners find cost-effective value engineering solutions to ensure the final product is aesthetically appealing and within budget. We will always go above and beyond providing valuable design and constructability advice, material and color samples, and building mockups to help our clients reach their end goals.
Safety
Our #1 goal for safety is that all of our employees go home to their families each night after a safe day at work. As a company, we have worked hard to develop a safety culture where everyone works together to keep all of us safe. We have partnered with Safety Consultants USA to continually train, retrain, and create this culture of safety as our priority. Our Experience Modification Rate (EMR) is currently 0.81, which is well above the industry standard of similar companies. All of PCG’s employees and subcontractors have been trained in the following:
- OSHA 10
- First Aid / CPR
- Fall Protection
- Boom Lift
- Scissor Lift
- Forklift
Besides certifications, PCG, in partnership with Safety Consultants USA, conducts monthly safety audits of our fabrication facility and random job site audits.
PCG also participates in the “Drugs Don’t Work” program through the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce. This program includes a drug and alcohol program, mandatory drug testing of all new employees, random drug testing of current employees, and monthly safety meetings about drug and alcohol abuse. At PCG, safety is paramount in the construction industry today.

It is because of this industry emphasis and our own goal of having all of our employees return home safely that we are a leader in our field in terms of our safety program.
Safety Training Highlights:
- All Employees are OSHA 10 trained.
- All Employees have boom, scissor, and forklift training.
- All foremen and leadmen are scaffold-competent persons.
- All employees are trained on the specialty tools needed to complete our work.
Our Facility
In July 2024, PCG moved into a new 117,000-square-foot metal fabrication facility to meet our growth needs and keep up with our clients' demands. With the additional space for both storage and fabrication, our efficient fabrication processes help us meet project goals and timeframes more effectively than ever before.

Equipment
Pierre Construction Group owns three portable roll-forming machines for standing seam metal roof panels. With this equipment, we can site roll-form our panels to reduce lead times and produce longer panels to meet the needs of larger projects.

Welding Stations
PCG has four welding stations to fabricate your awning, canopy, sunshade, trellis or other aluminum projects.

ACM Fabrication
PCG has invested in a full-size CNC ACM table for our composite panel fabrication. Our increased accuracy and production have helped us better meet our clients' needs with this scope of work.
