Architectural Metal Company of Choice: The PCG Difference
For every client and on every project, our goal is to be the sole architectural metal company of choice for construction company owners, general contractors, estimators, architects, and project managers. We continue to do business by what our company's founder, David Westcott, frequently reminded us, saying, "Always be willing to do what others are not." This willingness to be an "easy button" while keeping the commitments we make sets us apart from the competition.
Here are several ways we consistently serve every client and manage every project.
Our team possesses a wealth of skills, experience, and knowledge regarding the products we produce and install. We genuinely enjoy (and prefer) being brought in on the front end of any project and helping with the design aspects. Whether it is a simple wall panel or a high-end custom canopy, our team wants to get involved early, make suggestions, provide cost-saving options, and help educate others during the process. Often, we are awarded the job because of this willingness to be a resource from start to finish. Whether we win the job or not, this is the level of involvement and expertise we frequently provide.
We provide as much information as possible at the outset of projects to help our clients plan and establish clear expectations from the start. Oftentimes, our custom products or high-end finishes require a long lead time for production. We want to communicate details such as lead time, duration, and what we need to install during the submittal phase of the project, so there are no surprises once we are onsite.
We understand that construction projects are constantly evolving, and we must be flexible, available, and responsive to adapt to these changes. This includes always answering the phone and providing quick responses to emails, RFI's, and submittal comments. Getting questions answered promptly helps the entire project move forward smoothly and enables us to meet our clients' deadlines.
Besides quick responses, we work with integrity. We make commitments and we keep them. There are enough variables in construction, but doing what you said you would do should never be one of them.
Problems occur, scheduling conflicts arise, and material delays happen; it is our job to help resolve these issues. It is our goal to be the easy button. In worst-case situations when we have bad news to share with a client, we do it right away so we can help plan a solution to overcome the issue we are facing. Bad news is often preferable to no news at all. We are not perfect, but we make considerable efforts to bounce back from our mistakes and correct them ASAP.
