Aluminum Composite Panel Installation in Kansas
New Century
Project Overview
Earlier this year, our team partnered with Evans General Contractors to complete a the front and side façades at the New Century Facility in Kansas. The scope of work included the fabrication and installation of aluminum composite panels (ACM) across the front and side elevations of the building. The design incorporated three distinct panel colors, one of which was a wood grain aluminum composite panel that added a modern yet natural aesthetic to the structure, accompanied with solid color acm around the top and sides and at the canopy as well.

Design & Material Highlights
The highlight of this project was the gray-toned wood grain ACM, installed in a rain screen joint system that provided both clean visual lines and a sleek, cohesive appearance that complements the other two solid color finishes. Together, the combination of tones and textures gave the building a distinctive, contemporary look that enhances its overall architectural appeal.
Challenges & Solutions
One of the primary challenges for this project was logistics—the jobsite was located a significant distance from our fabrication shop. Careful planning was essential to coordinate material deliveries and maintain installation efficiency. With dedication of one of our well skilled installation crews and coordination with Evans General Contractors, our scope of work turned out very well.
How did PCG‘s track record and experience serve the needs of this project?
Our long term relationship with the general contractor helped make this project a success for us.
